and I'm already showered and in bed. Meredith is asleep and I think Red would be too if there weren't some football games on. BEAT. That's what I am.
The nurse was 20 minutes late. She did answer my questions but most of her time was bsing about Navy crap b/c her dude was in for 20 something years and is now a civilian with the command Red's last ship was connected to. She also said a few 4 letter words. Too bad for her when they call to ask me how it went I'll tell them how she was. Helpful, but late and used curse words. Too bad so sad for her.
We got grocerys and had Chili's for lunch. Too bad it's supposed to rain a lot the next several days b/c I want to grill. Oh well. That's actually ok b/c dude works tomorrow and Saturday.

Was she using those words around Meredith?! Geez! I know since we've been here, I've let quite a few soldiers know that they need to watch their language in public, especially when someone is nearby with a six-year-old girl. Now if Julia hears someone say something inappropriate, she'll say "Go tell 'em, Mommy!" She knows I will not put up with that. And I'm talking about the f-bomb, not someone who just says hell or dammit! These guys are saying it every other word, in the PX, in restaurants, in the CMR.
I hope you get a different nurse next time cause that's not cool.:(
I hope you get to grill too.
I want Chili's.
Did yu expect the nurse to act respectfully and be helpful? you have VERY high expectations.
