Last nights shot...

was done earlier, after dinner, and in my THIGH. I also didn't use the autoinjector b/c I am wasting half the meds in the 44 syringe to allow myself to get used to the meds. The titration pack was supposed to have allowed that but I guess it wasn't a long enough trial b/c I'm doing it for longer. Works for me. I don't feel like I did Tuesday today so that's WONDERFUL. I do have a headache and am tired but that's normal and there's no stomach ewness so I'll take it.
The thigh thing is a big ole deal b/c I've been scared to try it so far. The needle didn't hurt and I actually did the injection very slowly. If you rush a manual inject it's supposed to hurt so I tried to avoid the fast push, since my leg isn't an HPLC and I don't want to go to lunch after the standards are run, and it worked. YAYA for having another spot for injections! This whole thing totally made my day yesterday. It ended on a really good note...a manual inject that went well and a call from Red.

This am we're trying to do the underwear thing. Yesterday Meredith picked out a pack of underwear from Target. SO far she's gone thru 2 pair. The first she was sitting on my lap and went uh oh. Gross. The second she came running to me but we didn't make it to the potty in time. But, she has gone in the potty once and got her potty dance, woohoo and hi-5s. Oh and a yellow happy face sticker Dada left here. I have the timer set. It was for every 30 minutes but I changed it to 15 b/c she seems to pee right before the 30 minutes is up. The bathroom is boring. We need to play Zelda in there or something while waiting for the peepee to come out. I'm not sure I can keep this up all day b/c we need to go to the postoffice and to Walgreens to get my pictures. Maybe that'll be diaper time then back to underwear when we get home. I think we'll try underwear all weekend unless she objects. I do think she knows when she's going to go pee, she just underestimates the time it'll take to get to the potty. I can't let her go naked b/c I'm not cleaning carpet pee. I already had to clean couch pee. Good thing this couch is going bye bye when we move. Plus, that's Red's spot. ;)

I did 600mg neurtontin and like 1000 mg ibuprofen. Could be why I don't feel crappy in the gut but whatever. Oh and the MSLifelines nurse, CRAZY HELPFUL, had me warm the injection site too. I'll keep doing that even if it didn't change anything b/c now in my head I think it helps. It's a big ole mind game.
