Tired of AF. Tired of it.
It's wierd when someone who doesn't know your business tells you they're praying for you to not have AF.

Happy Thanksgiving
We stayed home and I cooked. It was good food but now we have leftovers for 5 days. Of breakfast and lunch. And I didn't even buy a big ole honkin turkey.
I started painting Meredith's room. It's not what I was going to do at first but I like it so far and so does Meredith. I may need roman shades for the windows. Curtains might be too much.
That's all for now.

I had an enlightening convo..
with a friend. I asked her about her family and what will happen when her youngest goes to full time real school. Will both parents go back to work full time? She said probably not. I asked why. What she told me made all kinds of sense. What's to say that Red and I will be able to have jobs where one of us is home in the am and one is home in the pm? What about summers and other school holidays? A whole new set of things to consider that I really hadn't.
I did get new glasses. They just aren't here yet. They had to order them. When they're on my face I'll take a picture. Really I will not liek the time I said I'd take a picture of my haircut and never did. I need a new haircut by the way.
I got the Copaxone refill. I had heard about new, smaller needles, AND I GOT THEM THIS TIME!! They really do help. The med still sucks but the needle is so much better. YAYAY!
Who'd have thunk I'd be excited over needles?

My poor eyes...
I just really need new glasses. That's what the eye doctor said anyway. So, when I get them if I still have issues can I bring him the pain? Meredith will show me how. She knows how. Be afraid, be very afraid.
We're going to stay home for Thanksgiving. Red now has the day off so instead of all of us going to Ms. E's we're staying home and cooking stuff for ourselves. We'll see how that goes.
Tired. SO, what else is new.

So I had my eye testing appt..
and it looks like the issues I am having with my vision are likely not related to my optic nerve. That's good. The bad thing is that my poor eyeballs are just wonky. I really need to make an eye appt now. I can't stand this not seeing correctly thing. It's worse than when I got bifocals and had ot learn to see thru them.
I did notice one other noteworthy thing. The left side of my upper back is numb. I needed to scratch. I had just filed my nails so they were pointy. I itched the crap out of myself...with itch relief but I shoudl have hurt myself and I didn't feel it. That's wierd. Not a good wierd.
Driving to the doctor this am I felt kinda good. I got up early got dressed, ate my breakfast, charged my phone and left. I liked driving in traffic, I liked sitting in tunnel traffic. I felt like I had somewhere to be and something to do. That almost sounds insane.
I also went and talked with Zoe today. I really should do that more often. The last time was about 3 months ago. I told her I needed to get back into that habit. She really does help me to think clearly. She said, "you should be a therapist or social worker." She said I have interesting insight and a good, I forget the word, something when it comes to dealing with situations that could be stressful. I said I had to learn to be that way. Unfortunately I have had a lot of practice.
I've started on the wierdness that I have in my head for Meredith's walls. I like the butterflys but not the swirls I added to make it look like they're flying. She likes it. She's 2. What does that say? I also decided to stripe one wall. Stripes are assholes.
She's been messing with the partially finished dollhouse on the kitchen table. I think she wants it to play with. I might make her one to play with sooner than I thought. She might be able to deal with a wooden house that's more fragile than the Little People house she has. Mostly b/c all she does is set the penguins or the other little animals she has in there and make them look out of the windows and talk to each other. It's kinda funny really.
That is all.

Don't go to the Mall on Saturday
No duh right? Well, see, it's like this. We had about 2 hours before dinner, we had already played outside and done laundry and everythig else we needed to do. So I said hey, you need new shoes little girl lets go look. And while we're at it we may as well call and see what size the one niece wears and get her something else for Christmas since we got more stuff for her brother and "that's not fair". So off we go. Meredith woudln't even get out of the stroller there were so many people.
Usually at this Mall there's no one but us and the 10 other mothers with their kids. But, that's on a Tuesday morning.
Never again.
We did get shoes and a gift though. And a little skirt from Baby Gap. Cute. ANd some hair bows from Gymboree.
By the way who is this "we" person. IIIIIIIIIII did all of those things except play outside by myself. Maybe I'm counting all the little bugs that live on all of us. Gross but true.
Oh and if the economy is so bad where did all these people get money from? Or maybe they all paid by credit card? Who knows, but there was some serious shopping going on.
And for those of you who are wondering, yes, I did walk allllll the way around to avoid Santa. Don't laugh. It's normal for me.
Nothing new on the health front. I have an appt Wednesday morning for all the vision stuff. We shall see. Oh and I'm so tired it's not even funny. I'm about to go upstairs, take a shower, get in bed and watch the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders show then go to sleep. Horrible.
Oh and Gertrude, you're still hot even with screwed up hair. ;)

Things that are happening...a list
- I started painting the butterflys and stuff on Meredith's wall. She likes it so far.
- Having a new floor rocks but solid floors really show dirt...like little leaves and crap that get tracked in even though we're a no shoe household.
- I am very annoyed when people think sending me stuff with the tags on will make it so that I think they're cool since they sent money. No one needs a ukulele or anything else thats useless. I'm not impressed. Also, when this person keeps bothering me and half whining crying over e-mail and texts it makes me want to change my number and change the e-mail I've had for almost 20 years to avoid them. Not working get a clue.
- I need to find fill dirt and sod. I really do. Most garden centers around this joint will only order sod for you if you need a whole pallet. I don't need a whole pallet I only need MAYBE 25 sq ft.
- I went to the neurologist today
- I am going to be on Copaxone thru the winter then switch to something else if necessary
- something else may not be Rebif
- I have to make an appt for another VER and a Visual Field test b/c of my eye issues
- I got a neurontin refill and more blood work
- my old blood work doesn't show any liver damage from my old meds
- and I also got a disc of my MRIs. When I figure out how to copy frames I'll share a picture of my brain.
- oh and he said I don't need another MRI until next year...if I don't have any poopy issues
I was listening to Radiohead when I was painting. Kid A. If I could imbed the whole cd onto my blog I would b/c the whole dang thing fits the way things are right now. I like it a lot.

We voted...
did you?
If you did I hope you did your research and voted for the candidate that will do what's right for you, your family and our country IYO. That's all any of us can do.
If you didn't and you had the option to don't complain about anything the next administration does. You didn't try to make your opinion heard so you don't get to complain.
